The latest news from Tokyo Japan HQ is that with the Engineers at Tomei Powered R&D Dept. have been hard at work with various new products in the pipeline and the daily constant testing and designs on the engine Dyno is a daily routine here in Tokyo. This month we see a new range of Performance Valves designed and tested and now available for these engines

High Flow, Improved Durability, for Extreme & High Power Applications!!
Tuned engines require as much fuel mixture to enter the combustion chamber as possible. So a larger diameter design was selected to optimize flow rates. Due to the extremely high temperature conditions experienced in the combustion chamber during high power runs the durability of the valves were also addressed to improve resistance to high heat conditions. The TOMEI oversized valves were designed with the above factors and more so with the careful selection of materials to suit these conditions to the precision in the design and manufacturing processes to maximize the intake and exhaust flow rates will make your engine capable of big power when needed most.

TOMEI OVERSIZED VALVE FEATURES
HIGH FLOW DESIGN: 1mm OVERSIZED WAIST SHAPE. 1mm oversized valves were designed for increased flow efficiency on both the intake and exhaust side. The stem has a thinner design for maximizing air flow rate within the port with the reduced air flow resistance. This design with the materials used also allowed for a lighter product as well.

PRECISION DESIGN:  To maximize the potential of the valves purpose each factor was addressed during the design process from the surface of the valve head (umbrella section) & the Valve Seat, from Stem to Cotter are all optimized with precision for optimum operating & sealing capabilities when needed most during extreme conditions.

HIGH HEAT RESISTANCE:
IN: SUH35 MATERIAL:  The SUH35 material which is known for its high heat resistance properties are usually used for the exhaust side. We chose to use it for the Intake side to suit the demands of today’s users for big power applications and for increased life.

EX: INCONEL 751 MATERIAL:  Since the exhaust side can experience extreme exhaust gas temperatures of 1,000 degrees C (1,832 degrees F) during high power use the Inconel 751 material was no doubt the best option to choose to suit serious needs when every detail counts.
